Fundraising Goal & Progress

GOAL

The Friends of Spicewood Community Library are laser focused on raising sufficient funds to build a new and more modern facility for Spicewood.  The overall goal is $1.5 million.  The current progress is described in the chart below.  While we are making good progress, we are still writing construction grants and reaching out to businesses who can make donations or assist with in-kind work or materials. Grant opportunity successes are greatly increased once we reach at least 50% of our fundraising goal.

A recent fundraising event raised over $50,000 in donations and pledges.  A donation match challenge has been made by one Spicewood resident for an additional $100,000.  Thus far, donations/pledge matches of $33,000 have been made.  Addition donations/pledges of $67,000 are needed to take advantage of this generous matching challenge.  Please consider helping us meet this matching goal.
