2024 Accomplishments

Fiscal Year 2023 – 2024 Update 

  • Continued to grow the library’s collection with new and popular titles
  • Updated all non-fiction areas with up-to-date information that pertains to relevant and popular interest
  • First annual Giving Tuesday Campaign added over 150 NEW board books, picture books, juvenile, and young adult books to our collection.
  • Plans to continue program & include adult books, DVD’s and STEAM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Math)
  • Updated children’s collection by removing damaged and/or noncirculating titles to allow for growth
  • Added two children’s computers
  • Continued to add STEAM kits
  • Social media reach has grown by 143.9% and has reached over 23,500 users
  • Over 5,400 people have visited the Facebook page
  • Facebook followers have grown by 7%
  • Facebook live children’s book reading (461 views)
  • Expanded DVD collection to include new releases
  • Removed noncirculating audiobooks to allow room for puzzle exchange program

  • 4,293 items checked out from the library in FY 2023-2024
  • Community garden participation for 10 months is 372 people and a lot of vegetables & herbs
