& Organizational Sponsorships

The Friends of Spicewood Community Library is committed to constructing a new building for the Spicewood area residents to more adequately fulfill its mission to provide a place to learn, to discover, to explore, to educate, to enjoy, and to play.  The organization has provided library services to this area for nearly 20 years.  During most of that time, it has been 100% community funded and operated by the Friends group and its volunteers.  The original facility, a nearly 50-year-old manufactured building, is rapidly deteriorating while continuing to serve over 8,000 patrons a year with essential services.

Your organization has surely noticed the growth with Spicewood as one of the fastest growing parts of Burnet County and northern Travis County.  Located in an unincorporated area of Burnet County, Spicewood Community Library receives no governmental construction funding. Yet, this non-profit organization fulfills community needs through its numerous services and programs.

Considering our area growth, we hope you will agree it is important for organizations that at least partially rely on the Spicewood population to show your support in a tangible and lasting way.  The new library will have a very attractive entrance with a prominent donor wall.  Sponsors will be permanently recognized on this wall in a manner proportionate to your support.

The donor wall is only one way we plan to recognize your support. 

    • Your logo will be included on our website with links to your website as well as on banners at major fundraising events such as the Denim & Diamonds Gala to be held in January 2026 at the Marble Falls Lakeside Pavilion.
    • Your firm will be featured on the electronic sign in front of the library, in monthly newsletters, and on social media.
    • If you agree, your support will be recognized in press releases about our progress towards reaching our goal.
    • You may use our non-profit status in any marketing materials you produce showing your support.

Multiple levels of sponsorship are available.  Sponsorships may be monetary or in-kind donations.  In-kind donation examples include environmental grade glass windows, concrete for the foundation, electrical cable needed for site preparation, landscaping, etc.  The various sponsorship levels are outlined below:

Bronze Partner $1,000 to $2,499
Silver Partner $2,500 to $4,999
Gold Partner $5,000 to $9,999
Platinum Partner $10,000 and above

The library is an IRS designated 501(c)(3) organization.  One hundred percent of your contribution will go toward the construction and completion of this much needed structure and its contents.
