ANNOUNCEMENTS
CIRCULATION POLICY
The Spicewood Community
Library has been open for over a year. For the first year, the
fines for overdue books were waived. This changed in
September. Beginning September 1, 2008, fines will apply for overdue
items
. These fines will need to be cleared before other material
is checked out. If you have overdue items, please make
sure they are returned or renewed before they become overdue. Please get those overdue books back in!
We would all appreciate it.
Up
to 10 items may be checked out per
card at any time.

· Books/Audio
Books - 3 weeks - Renew once |
 |
· DVDs/VHS
- 2 weeks - No renewal |
Overdue
items are charged $0.10 per overdue day. When
a patron has fines assessed against them, the outstanding fines must be
cleared before checking out additional items.
RESUMED NORMAL
LIBRARY HOURS IN SEPTEMBER Beginning
September 1, the
Spicewood Library resumed normal hours. The library was open
most of the summer an extra 8 hours per week (each Friday). Please
thank all of our volunteers for working those extra hours so you and your
children could have access to the library more hours while school was
out. We will continually reassess the need for additional hours and
add hours when demand requires it and when we have sufficient volunteers to staff
those hours. If you would like to add your name to those who
volunteer, tell any librarian when you are at the library or call Wilma
Swann at 693-6574. |
